Some properties require a Head Housekeeper to inspect and verify rooms after they have been cleaned by a Room Attendant. When this workflow is used, room assignments must be configured so that Head Housekeepers know which rooms they are responsible for inspecting. Assignments are created using room number ranges and can be configured for one room, multiple rooms, or multiple room ranges per Head Housekeeper. This feature helps properties:
- Organize room verification assignments
- Ensure rooms are inspected before becoming guest-ready
- Improve accountability and quality control
- Streamline the inspection process
- Support housekeeping operations and standards
Path: Dashboard > Head Hkpr Room Assign
Assign Rooms to a Head Housekeeper
1. Create a New Assignment - Click Add.
2. Create an Assignment Line - A new room assignment line will appear. Each line represents a room range that will be assigned to a specific Head Housekeeper.
3. Select the Head Housekeeper - Choose the Head Housekeeper who will be responsible for inspecting the assigned rooms.
- To appear in the selection list, the employee must have Head Housekeeper selected as their position in the employee profile.
- A Head Housekeeper can have multiple assignment lines if needed.
4. Select the Starting Room Number - Choose the first room number in the room range.
5. Select the Ending Room Number - Choose the last room number in the room range. If assigning only a single room:
- The starting room number and ending room number should be the same.
6. Repeat for Additional Room Ranges - Continue adding assignment lines as needed until all room ranges have been assigned. A single Head Housekeeper may be assigned:
- One room
- Multiple individual rooms
- Multiple room ranges
7. Save the Assignments - Click Save.
8. Verify the Confirmation Message - A green confirmation message will appear in the bottom-right corner indicating the assignment was successfully saved.

- Only employees with the Head Housekeeper position will appear in the assignment list.
