Create an FX - Free Nights - Reservation (BW) (Cloud)

The FX discount code is the designated rate plan chosen by the front desk when a guest wishes to make a booking using BWR points.
Path: Front Office > Reservations > Add Res/BookRes > Start the Reservation

1. In the Rate Information section, choose the FX discount code (for Free Night Stay Redemption Stays) in either the WD (Weekdays) and/or WE (Weekends) fields, depending on whether your reservation falls on weekdays and/or weekends and if different rates apply for these periods.



2. Choose "City Ledger" from the Method of Payment dropdown, and then pick the relevant City Ledger account. This account will typically be dedicated to BWR Free Nights, or in some cases, it might be a single BW Account used for Free Nights, Travel Cards, and BW Gift Cards.


An FX reservation made online will always have a $0.01 rate.
If the FX code does not prompt a rate or if there are no City Ledger payment Accounts for BW, see your Management.
The FX discount code is what triggers the points redemption on the client's BWR account. If you take it out from the reservation, the points will be refunded to the client's BWR account.
