Verify DND or No Service Request Tasks (MOP 2.0)
This article explains how to verify Do Not Disturb (DND) or No Service Request tasks in MOP 2.0. When a Room Attendant marks a room as DND or No Service Request and does not have Self Verification enabled, the task must be reviewed and verified by a Head Housekeeper or Supervisor to ensure accurate documentation and room status handling.
When Verification Is Required
Verification is required when:
- A Room Attendant marks a room as DND or No Service Request, and
- The Room Attendant’s verification setting is Supervisor Verification (not Self Verification)
Until verified, the task remains incomplete from a supervisory perspective.
Accessing Tasks That Require Verification
Path: Dashboard > My Tasks
Open the Task
1. Locate the task that requires verification. Click the eye icon on the left side of the task to open it.
Confirm Room Status
2. Review the task details and confirm the Room Attendant’s status. If the room was correctly skipped due to DND or No Service Request, proceed with verification.
Verify the Task
Select Verified DND to confirm the room was not serviced.
Save the verification to complete the task.
Verifying DND or No Service Request confirms that the room was intentionally not cleaned. It does not mark the room as clean or send a cleanliness update to the PMS.
