Create a New House Accounts (Desktop) 🎥
House accounts are set up for account tracking and/or postings used in various aspects of the Hotel. There are two House Accounts available for usage in Visual Matrix: Guest Ledger and City Ledger*.
*To avoid any misuse and reporting discrepancy, the City Ledger House Accounts are locked. To create a new one, please contact our Client Experience team.
A Guest House Account is used for account posting/tracking of goods or services provided to a guest generally not staying in House. Related items would be sales from a Revenue Center such as a Pantry, Gift Shop or Restaurant.
Path: Management > Setup > Rooms > House Accounts
1. Use the last empty line to create the new account.
2. Complete the House Account Code (limited to 6 characters) and Description (limited to 30 characters).
