Create a Strip Task (MOP 2.0)

Create a Strip Task (MOP 2.0)

The Strip Task is an optional feature; contact Client Experience if interested.
A "strip task" in housekeeping involves removing all used linens and bedding, such as sheets, pillowcases, and towels, from a guest room. This task is typically carried out when a guest checks out or as part of the room cleaning process. "Strip" signifies the removal of these used items, preparing the room for cleaning and restocking with fresh linens and amenities, ensuring it's ready for the next guest.
Path: Dashboard > Add Tasks

1. Click on Strip Tasks. Note that this option will only show once a day.

2. The first option is not a strip task; it's a check task. This task involves verifying that all rooms designated as unoccupied are indeed vacant.

3. Next, select the room that you want to assign for stripping and choose the employee who will be responsible for performing this task.

4. Click "Submit" to assign the tasks.
