Activities are similar to packages and include multiple days, items, and charges, and require their own accounting code. For example, you might set up an activity if a property is selling scheduled rentals like bike or golf course use.
Path: Management > Setup > Property > Activities

1. Create an Accounting Code for the activity.

2. Choose a Code and a Name for the Activity. This can be the same as the accounting code created for this purpuse.

3. Choose the start and end date the activity will be available for.

4. If there is, choose the daily start and end time the activity will be available for. If none, leave the fields blank.

5. Check if you allow an activity to be posted to "cash" customers, aka clients that do not have a method of payment on their reservation.

6. Select the frequency of the activity. There are 4 possibilities: Daily, Open Times, Revolving and Set Times.

6a1. Daily charge by Guest. If you charge the activity by person (adult/child), select the charge type "Guest", and enter the rate for each person.

6a2. Daily charge by Item. If you charge the activity by item, select the charge type "Item", and enter the rate.

6b. Charge by Open Times. The open times period can be setup by the minute or the hour. Once the period is setup, add the rate for this period in the "Charge" field.
Increment charges can also be setup for extended activity. For example, the charge for the first hour can be of $45 and for every ten minutes that the guest goes over, they will be charged an additional $10.

6c. Charge by Revolving Time. The revolving duration is between 1 and 59 minutes. Like for the Daily charge, the cost will be setup either by guest (adult/child) or by item.

6d. Last option: Charge by Set Times. On the right side, the start and end time setup at the beginning will be the first time slot. Any other time slot for which the activity will be sold can be setup in the Additional Times section.
Like for the Daily charge, the cost will be setup either by guest (adult/child) or by item.

7. Select the Accounting code that was created for this purpuse.

8. Enter the number of items available for this activity.

9. Check every day of the week the activity will be available.

10. Last step, enter any useful comment for anyone who will be adding this activity to a guest.

11. Click Save.
