Message "Rates are not setup for this period"
When booking a room in the system, you might see the message "Rates are not set up for this period" while using either the Availability screen or the Book Res option. This message indicates that the system is missing rate information for the parameters you’re trying to use.
This could be due to:
- The selected room type not having rates set up.
- The date range you’ve chosen lacking assigned rates.
If this message appears, please verify the rate setup for the selected room type and date range to ensure booking availability.
Path: Management > Rates > Room Rates
- Select the Rate Season
- Select the Specific Room Type within that Rate Season
- Verify or Input the Missing Rates for 1 through 6 people in the Base Rate section in the Daily Room Rates and the Weekend Room Rates for each Season in your system.
Tier Rates can also be applied when needed but to avoid a delay in your booking process, the Base Rate MUST be entered into the system for the specified Room Type and Rate Season you are booking.
