Message "Unable to Post Incoming Reservation" (BW)


What is the message?

This message appears when a booking from the Best Western 2way is not getting pulled down. Visual Matrix receives it, but cannot post it.

Why do you see this message?

The main reasons are:
- Seasons are not covering 18 months forward (to the day): the reservation might be for outside of your open seasons in Visual Matrix.
- Some Rates are missing. Make sure rates are set up for every season, every room type, weekdays and weekends for the max capacity of each room. If a room as a max capacity of 4 persons, rates should be entered up to 4 persons for every season, weekdays and weekends.
- An issue in the Rate Code or the Room Type mapping: missing market segment or room type not mapped to the rate code.
- The client left a special character in the comments, like a smiley... :-) - This will have to be corrected by the OTA directly.

If those 4 reasons are checked and you still see the message, open a ticket with our Client Experience Team.
