What disclaimer is required for Best Western properties?
Best Western properties are required to include the following disclaimer on guest-facing documents:
Each BWH℠ Hotels property is independently owned and operated.

This disclaimer must appear on registration cards, folios, and direct billing documents to comply with brand standards.
How do I update the disclaimer text on registration cards?
The disclaimer text is controlled by the Footer Text in the Registration Card settings.
To update it:
  1. Navigate to Management > Property Settings > Forms > Registration Cards
  2. Locate Footer Text
  3. Enter the required disclaimer text and save
Notes
The following disclaimer must be included for Best Western properties: "Each BWH℠ Hotels property is independently owned and operated.”
How do I update the disclaimer text on folios?
Folio disclaimer text is managed separately from registration cards.
To update it:
  1. Navigate to Management > Property Settings > Forms > Guest Folios
  2. Locate the Folio Footer
  3. Enter the required disclaimer text and save

Direct billing disclaimer text is configured in the Direct Billing section.
To update it:

  3. Enter the required disclaimer text and save

Why are my changes not appearing on printed documents?
If updates to disclaimer text are not appearing:
  1. Confirm changes were saved
  2. Verify you updated the correct section (Registration Card, Folio, or Direct Billing)
  3. Reprint the document after making changes
Each document type uses its own footer or preset text configuration.
