Why am I unable to create a City Ledger Accounting Code?

The option to create a City Ledger Accounting Code has been intentionally disabled to prevent discrepancies in reports associated with the City Ledger. If you attempt to create one, the system will not allow it to be saved.

Can I use a non-calendar accounting year in Visual Matrix?

Yes. Visual Matrix supports non-calendar accounting years, but the accounting year configuration must be updated by Visual Matrix Client Experience.

If your property operates on a fiscal year that does not follow the standard January–December calendar, please contact Visual Matrix Client Experience at least a few business days before the desired effective date. A setup form must be completed and signed to ensure the accounting periods are configured correctly.

Where can I view my current accounting year?

Go to Management > Accounting Settings > Report Headings

You can view your current accounting year settings, but you cannot modify them within the PMS.

Changes to the accounting year cannot be made directly by property users. All requests must be submitted through Visual Matrix Client Experience using the required setup form.
