FAQ - Transitioning to VM Cloud PMS

Can I import group reservations from my current PMS into Visual Matrix?

No, group reservations cannot be imported directly from another PMS into Visual Matrix.

Why do I need to recreate reservations and groups manually?
Visual Matrix does not support importing group data from other PMS platforms. Manual creation ensures that group management, tracking, and reporting functions correctly within the Visual Matrix environment.
What steps should I take to manage group reservations that were previously booked in my current PMS?
Follow these steps:
- Manually recreate the reservations in Visual Matrix that were booked in your previous/current PMS.
- Create the group in Visual Matrix PMS.
- Once the reservations and the group are created, link each reservation to the group individually.
