Invite a New Learner to your Property Group in VM University
VM University allows each property to have its own dedicated learning group, making it easier to manage employee training and track progress. Within each group, one or more users can be assigned the role of moderator, giving them access to tools that support training management — including the ability to monitor learner progress and invite new employees to join the group.
To create a group for your property and serve as its moderator, please reach out to the Knowledge Management team at university@visualmatrix.com with your property ID.
You can only invite new learners who don’t already have an account in VM University. If the person you’re trying to add already has an account, please contact the Knowledge Management team for assistance.
1. Log into your VM University Account - university.visualmatrix.com.
2. Click on "Access My Space".
3. Select "My Team" on the left side menu.
4. From the "Progress" tab, click on "Add Learners" or the "+" icon at the top right.
5. Complete the form and click "Add" at the bottom.
Creating a password for the learner's account is not necessary. The learner will receive an email with an enrollment link, allowing them to set up a password and complete their profile.
Utilizing a learner's personal email address is crucial as VM University account access is individual and not linked to any specific property. This allows for seamless transfer and continuous access if the learner moves to another property. For assistance with transferring learners to another group, please reach out to the Knowledge Management team.
