Understanding MOP 2.0 Icons and Their Functions

Understanding MOP 2.0 Icons and Their Functions

In MOP 2.0, icons are your gateway to managing tasks efficiently — editing, viewing, filtering, and deleting tasks depend on recognizing these visual cues. In this guide, you’ll learn what each icon does, where you'll see it, and why it’s important. Screenshots are included to help you follow along visually.

Overview

The pencil icon, located to the left of a task entry, opens the edit screen for that task. (If your role includes edit permissions, you’ll see this icon.)

The right-arrow icon, located on the right side of a task, lets you preview the task’s details quickly (without entering full edit mode)

The + (plus) icon, usually found at the bottom of list pages (e.g. Tasks or Users), opens a form to add a new item — for example, a new task or user.

The eye icon, shown to the left of a task (particularly in My Tasks), gives you access to actions like viewing, starting, finishing, or verifying that task — depending on its current status.

The funnel icon, located at the top-right corner of list views, opens filter options so you can narrow down tasks (e.g., by status, date, assignee).

The download icon exports the currently displayed task list (including applied filters) so you can review it offline.

The floppy disk (save) icon must be clicked anytime you make changes to a page or record. This ensures your updates are saved — there is no auto-save.

The trash bin icon deletes the selected item (task, user, etc.). Use with caution — a confirmation prompt will appear before the deletion is finalized.

The Lost and Found icon in MOP provides quick access to log, track, and manage guest items left behind.
The panic button icon is displayed in the upper-right corner of every page in MOP for all users.

Still Need Help With This Topic?

Ask Yourself:
- Why don’t I see a pencil icon next to my task?
- What does the eye icon do in My Tasks?
- How can I export only filtered tasks?
- I clicked the trash bin by accident — is there a way to undo?
- Why is the save icon not active after I make edits?

Support May Ask You:
- Which user role are you using (Admin, Manager, Staff)?
- On which screen are you unable to see the icon (Tasks list, My Tasks, etc.)?
- Did you apply any filters (which might hide items)?
- What browser and device are you using?
- Did a save or delete get confirmed or failed?
