Override a Weekly/Monthly Rate (Cloud)


While weekly and monthly rates are configured in the Management > Rates > Room Rates settings, you still have the flexibility to override these rates directly in a reservation. This allows for more customization, whether you're setting rates for a specific company or making adjustments as needed for individual bookings.
Path: Front Office > Reservations > Search > Open a Reservation

1. Scroll down to the "Rate Information" section.
2. Click on "Details".



2. In "Details", you will see the current daily rate based on the weekly/monthly rate setup in "Management > Rates > Room Rates".



3. At the bottom of the window, enter the new weekly/monthly rate. Once entered, the daily rate will automatically be displayed based on the updated weekly/monthly rate.
4. Click on "Apply".



5. For monthly rates, the daily rate will adjust according to the "# of days in month" setting.



5. Back to the reservation, the new daily override rate will show in the "Override Rate" field.
