Record a "No Service" Request on an Assigned Cleaning Task (MOP)
The No Service option is used when a guest requests that housekeeping services not be performed for their room. Recording a No Service request in MOP helps:
- Document the guest request
- Update the room cleaning status
- Inform supervisors and other departments
- Maintain accurate housekeeping records
Employees can also include notes or images related to the request when needed.

Record a No Service Request
1. Open the Task - Click the eye icon on the left side of the assigned task to open the task details.
2. Add Notes and/or Images (Optional) - Add any notes or images related to the No Service request. Examples may include:
- Guest requested no housekeeping today
- Do Not Disturb sign present
- Guest requested service later
- Supervisor instructions or updates
To upload an image:
- Click the "+" icon
- Select an image from your computer or phone
3. Select “No Service” - Click No Service to update the task status. Once selected:
- The task status updates accordingly
- The request is documented in the system
- Supervisors and staff can review the update if needed
Why Recording No Service Requests Matters
Properly documenting No Service requests helps properties:
- Respect guest preferences
- Avoid unnecessary room entry
- Improve communication between departments
- Maintain accurate housekeeping tracking and reporting
- Notes can help explain the reason for the status update
