Reinstate a Checked Out Individual Folio (Desktop) 🎥

Path: Front Office > Cashiering > Guest Account

1. Type in the room number in the Room # box and select A in the folio drop-down. This will populate the guest who just checked out of the room. 
2. Select Reinstate on the folio preview screen.
3. The guest will now be in-house and the status will change from OUT to IN


A Room/Folio can only be reinstated as long as it was check out on the current day and if no one else has checked into the same room number. 
Also, if a guest was checked out early and then reinstated, the departure would have been changed to the current date and will not be re-updated automatically. The departure date will have to be updated.
