Visual Matrix provides the ability to set up, review or edit Company Profiles. Company Profiles help keep records of your business source and revenue contributions and statistics from a particular Company.
Path: Sales and Marketing>Company>Company
The Company profile in Sales & Marketing is divided into 4 sections:
- Company Information.
- Rate Information.
- Statistics.
- Contact Information.
Company
Information
- Use the drop-down window to select Current company or select New to add a company.
- Fill in all related fields for the Company Profile.
- Referral
Method: Select the referral or source of the
company bookings.
- Market Segment: Type of business (about market
segments) the Company is associated with
- Rate Override (Weekday and Weekend)
- Rate Private should be selected if the rate is to be hidden and not on the Registration card
- Discounts (Weekday and Weekend) (use drop-down windows to select pre-loaded rate codes)
- Tax Status (use the Exempt drop-down window) to select the Company's taxability
- You cannot have both an Override Rate and a Discount Rate, it must be one or the other
- Setting the parameters will allow for auto-population of some fields if a Reservation is made by a Company name
Statistics
- Shows current month's statistics but you can move back or forward to the desired months to review
- Current Year and Previous Year Month to Date Statistics for Revenue, Room, Nights, ADR, and % of Rack
- Used for primary contact
- Complete all fields with pertinent information
- Keep the Active box checked as long as the company remains an active client
- Check the Update TwoWay box to ensure information and any changes are pushed out to the booking channels
