Part of any business is marketing their products and/or services they supply to their existing or potential customers.
Visual Matrix offers a platform that will allow you to create mailing lists for their existing customer base. There are four primary target areas where data is collected.
Those four areas are as follows: Guest, Company, Travel Agent, and City Ledger accounts. This article will go over the possibilities of Guests data export.
The access path is as follows: Sales and Marketing > Marketing > Guest.
In the Sales and Marketing database, a collection of data is provided for the Guest as an individual traveler.
Many filters are available to generate the data. The first dropdown window asks for a selection of Mailing Categories such as Christmas, Birthday, etc.
An example Mailing Category is as follows: A list of birthdays to send out birthday wishes to those guests celebrating in a particular month.
The created list can be printed or exported to allow for possible label printing or email transmission.
The parameters can be sorted in 7 categories:
1- By type of client: member of a mailing list, specific status (VIP, DNR, ...), member of a Company list, Birthday.
2- By date: booking and/or arrival day.
3- By marketing segments: market, referral, reason for stay or discount code.
4- By revenue: revenue or number of nights overall and/or year to date
5- By provenance: zip code, state/province and/or country.
6- By contact information: if the profile has a fax number and/or an email.
7- By Incentive Program: this section is currently not activated.
