Locating a guest reservation in VM Cloud is easy thanks to our flexible search tool. Whether you know the confirmation number, guest name, email, or other details, you can filter using multiple search options and date ranges to find exactly what you need—fast.
Path: Front Office > Reservations > Search

Instructions

1. By default, the search is set to Reservation Status. From the dropdown, you can choose from 17 different options: City Ledger, Company Name, VM Confirmation Number, Credit Card Number, CRS/3rd Party Conf #, Discount Code, Email, Group Name, Guest ID/Phone #, Guest Last Name, Multi Reservations, Reservation Status, Room Blocked, Room Checked IN, Room Type, Travel agent and VIP Status.

2. Use the From and To fields (which default to today) to adjust your search period—click the calendar icon to modify the dates.
Notes
Search results depend on your arrival date filters. For example, if you're searching by the last four digits of a credit card, make sure the date range covers the guest’s arrival day to find the correct reservation.

3. To narrow results, either pick a filter from the dropdown (such as rate plan, city ledger, or company account) or type a keyword in the search field. The list will update instantly based on your choice.

4. Click Search after setting your filters.

5. Click Print to print your results.

Idea
If you're not finding a reservation, check that your date range includes the arrival date you're searching for—it’s a common oversight.
