Setup Revenue Tax Included (Desktop)

It is recommended to setup this setting during implementation.

This section is to enable Room Revenue Tax as included in the room rates. This setting only allows one Revenue Tax. The revenue tax can be exempted.
Path: Management > Setup > Property > Taxes

1. If not already done, create the Accounting Code for the new tax. For organization purpuses, tax codes are setup as "9" codes in the accounting codes list, but any other code can be used.


2. Add the tax code in the first empty line in the "Revenue Tax Codes" section:
- select the tax accounting code,
- complete the tax rate that will be applied,
- the third option has no need as it will be included in the rate by default.



3. Check the box "All Rates Charges are Tax Inclusive" in the Taxing Structure.



4. A message will popup to confirm that only one revenue tax is allowed in the Revenue Tax Code section.



5. Enter the name of the tax (GST, VAT, TVA, ...).
