Troubleshooting Emails Setup with Outlook
Start by connecting to the computer where you’ll be troubleshooting emails. Determine whether you will be addressing issues with Outlook mail or Visual Matrix mail.
1. Try sending an email to yourself.
2. Check if there are items in user's the outbox.
3. If the email sat in the outbox without being sent, go to Accounting Settings (File > Account Settings).
4. Check that the user's email is set up in the "E-Mail" window:
- Highlight the email address and click Repair.
- Double-check with the user that all of the settings there are correct in the repair window (email address/password).
If this does not work, the user may be having network issues beyond our troubleshooting scope at Visual Matrix.
