Undo a Check-In (Cloud)

Once there are posted transactions on a folio, it's not possible to undo a check-in. Even if all the posted transactions have been voided, they will still appear on the folio. In such a scenario, the only available options are either to check out the room or leave it in-house until the guest arrives.
Path: Front Office > Reservations > Search

1. Open the guest reservation and go to the toolbox on the right side.
2. Click on Undo Check-In.


If you have done a check-in by mistake and have already done a credit card authorization, this will not be reversed if you undo the check-in. You will have to drop the authorization by posting an advance deposit and voiding it.
If you have done a check-in by mistake and have done a credit card authorization for the wrong customer, this cannot be transferred to another reservation nor will it be reversed if you undo the check-in. You will have to drop the authorization by posting an advance deposit and voiding it.
