Keeping room conditions accurate in Visual Matrix Cloud helps the front desk and housekeeping teams stay aligned on which rooms are clean, dirty, or inspected. While Head Housekeepers typically update room conditions from the Housekeeping section, front desk users can also make updates directly from the Room Rack Summary when quick adjustments are needed.

Overview
The Room Rack Summary provides a quick snapshot of each room’s current condition, helping front-desk and housekeeping staff coordinate daily operations. The legend allows staff to quickly assess occupancy and condition without switching to the Housekeeping section.
Instructions
1. Select a Room: In the Room Rack Summary view, right-click on the room number you want to update.
2. Choose the New Condition: From the menu or dropdown, select the new condition.
- If the room is Dirty, choose Clean or Clean & Inspected.
- If the room is Clean or Inspected, you can mark it Dirty.
3. Save the Change: Click Update. The room’s condition updates immediately on the Room Rack.
