Add Log Entry from Dashboard (Cloud)


The Logbook widget in VM Cloud puts your team’s departmental notes and handover updates front and center—right on your dashboard. Adding a log entry helps ensure everyone in your department stays informed and aligned. The Logbook organizes entries by department and date—ideal for sharing updates within your team.

Overview

You can add a log only for your assigned department.
To add a new log entry:
- Click Add.
- Type your message.
- Click Save.
- Your entry will now appear on the dashboard for anyone in your department when they log in.

Idea
Use the Logbook each shift to note important developments—like shift changes or special notes—so your department remains in sync.
Alert
Once created, log entries cannot be edited or deleted. Always double-check your message before saving.
