Logbook Overview (Cloud)


The Logbook is one of the 4 widgets you can find on the VM Cloud dashboard when you log in on the left side of the dashboard.
The logbook works by each department by day. It is meant for communication inside one department, not between departments. See how to add a log to the Logbook.
To send a message across departments to specific people or a specific team, or even to the whole staff, you want to use the Internal Messaging app.



The user will only be able to add new logs intended for other users from within his/her department.
The department is the one assigned in the user's profile in Management > User Settings > Security.



The user will see the logs of his/her department but will be able to read any log across all departments.
1. By choosing any other department, you can see the logs for that department. By choosing ALL, you can see all logs for all departments together.
2. In our example below, by choosing ALL, we can now see two logs from Management and one from Maintenance.
