Add a "VIP" Status to a Guest Profile (Desktop)
The Guest Profiler section in Sales and Marketing gives you the possibility to update a Guest Profile Type with a specific Status like VIP, Member, or Do Not Rent.
To change the Guest Profile Type from a Reservation directly, the reservation needs to be either Hold (HLD), Guaranteed (GTD), or Checked-in (IN). The Guest Type cannot be modified from a checked-out or Cancelled reservation. Then you have to go to the Guest Profile directly.
Path: Sales & Marketing > Guest Profiler > Browse
- Open the Guest Profile;
- Go to the Marketing Information section and change the Guest Type to VIP;
- Make sure you Save from the bottom of the page.
If you have multiple times the same guest profile, you may want first to clean the data and merge some profiles.
