Add Existing Reservation to Group Block (Cloud)


At times, you may need to create a group when individual reservations already exist outside of the group block. This process is used when you want to add an individual reservation to an existing group block.
Path: Front Office > Reservations > Search > Open the reservation.

1. Scroll down to Stay Details and Click on Add next to Group Name.



2. Click on the group you want to add the reservation to.
3. Click Yes to confirm the addition.
4. Read any message that might result of a specific situation, in the case below, click Yes again to confirm the addition to the group although the room type is not part of the current room types already allocated to the group.



5. The Group is now added to the individual reservation (or) the reservation is now added to the Group.


Once a reservation is linked to a group, it cannot be unlinked. The only option is to cancel the reservation.
If the group is configured with a guarantee type of "All Charges" or "Room and Tax," the reservation name will change to the contact name of the group.
If the group is configured with a guarantee type of "None," the reservation name will remain unchanged.
