Assign Housekeeping Sections to Room Numbers (Cloud) 🎥
Assigning housekeeping sections to room numbers links sections created in the system to the specific rooms they cover. This process ensures that each housekeeping team or zone is responsible for the correct set of rooms, simplifying daily cleaning plans and improving service efficiency. Proper assignment of sections also supports reliable auto-assignment behavior by grouping rooms logically.
Path: Housekeeping > Setup > Housekeeping Sections
Instructions
1. On the right side of the screen, locate the list of rooms by room number.
2. Select the appropriate housekeeping section for a room number.
3. Click the Save icon (floppy disk) at the end of the row to save that assignment.
- Each room assignment must be saved individually.
- If you assign sections to multiple rooms without saving each one, only the last saved assignment will be retained.
- Any unsaved assignments will automatically revert to their previous settings.
- This step is required for housekeeping sections to be used in assignments, reporting, and auto-assignment workflows.
