Assign Housekeeping Supply Item to Room Types (Cloud) 🎥
Assigning housekeeping supply items to room types in Visual Matrix Cloud lets your property define how many units of a given supply are used for different types of rooms during a cleaning event. This setup supports accurate tracking of supply usage and associated costs when rooms are serviced as Make or Change, enabling more meaningful inventory control, usage reporting, and cost analysis. This process is typically completed after supply items have been created, and it ensures consumption is tracked correctly across room types during housekeeping operations.

Instructions
1. In the Supply Usage setup screen, select the supply item on the left side of the page.
2. On the right side, select the room type you want to configure.
3. Enter the number of supply units needed for that room type when the room is cleaned as a Make and as a Change.
- Make refers to refreshing a room (e.g., daily cleaning).
- Change refers to a full clean after a guest checks out.
4. Click the green Save icon (floppy disk) to store the configuration.
Do not switch to another supply item before saving the one you are on, or all unsaved data will be lost.
