Using auto-assignment of rooms to housekeepers based on segmentation involves setting up defined categories and rules within the PMS. Housekeeping staff are then assigned to these categories, allowing rooms to be automatically assigned to them.
Path: Housekeeping > Room Assign > Room Assignment
1. Click "Refresh" to generate the data on the page.
2. Select the housekeeper you are assigning rooms to and enter the number of rooms you want the system to assign to this housekeeper today.
The number of rooms that shows by default next to the name is the number of rooms that were assigned the previous time.
3. Choose the number of rooms you want the system to assign to this housekeeper today.
4. (Optional) Choose any specific available segmentation: only assign rooms by floor (section), by type (rm type), by range number, or only Odd or Even numbers (seq).
5. Click on "Auto-Assign Maid".
6. The system will assign by numerical order any rooms matching the selected criteria.
7. Click on the green floppy disk on the right to save.
8. Switch Housekeepers.
9. Choose the number of rooms you want the system to assign to this housekeeper today.
10. (Optional) Choose any specific available segmentation: only assign rooms by floor (section), by type (rm type), by range number, or only Odd or Even numbers (seq).
11. Click on "Auto-Assign Maid".
12. The system will assign the following "x" room number entered next to the housekeeper's name (# Rooms). Rooms in red are already assigned to another housekeeper.
13. Click on the green floppy disk on the right to save.
Rooms number with the extension "-c" are rooms In Change status - aka sheets to be changed. Rooms number with the extension "-m" are rooms Make status - aka bed to be made, sheets do not need to be changed.
Room numbers in yellow are Due Outs. Room numbers in white are Stay Overs. Room numbers in green are assigned to the selected housekeeper. Room numbers in red are already assigned to another housekeeper.
