Create a Travel Agent (Cloud) 🎥

Travel agents are valuable industry partners. They are usually paid a commission percentage based on the rate. Effective setup and usage of the Travel Agent fields in Visual Matrix will aid in prompt payment processing, effective tracking, and keeping these valuable partners working on behalf of your hotel.
Path: Accounting > Travel Agents > Travel Agent

1. Click New.



2. Enter Travel Agent Information: IATA number, Agency name and address location.



3. Enter the Federal Tax ID and, if the case, attach the TA to a Company Code.
4. Check the box if you want VM to generate a 1099 form for this Travel Agent.



5. Choose in the drop down the type of Travel Agent:
- Regular Travel Agent.
- Non Commissionable.
- Prepaid Commission.
- In House Sale.
6. Choose to enable the Travel Agent Incentive programs.



7. Enter the information for the primary contact of the Travel Agent.
8. Enter any related comments.
