Deactivate a User (MOP)

In MOP, you cannot delete a user account entirely—but you can deactivate it to prevent further access. Follow the steps below to safely deactivate a user.

Path: Administration > Identity Management > Users

InfoTip: If you want to reinstate the user later, simply edit the profile and re-check the Active box, then Save.

  • Did you navigate to the correct path: Administration → Identity Management → Users?
  • Did you click Edit before changing the Active status?
  • Did you uncheck the Active checkbox and click Save?
  • Are all the deactivated users’ tasks reassigned or closed before deactivation?
