I need help with the new username that I created. When I try to login, it shows that I don't have permission to login from this location. Why can't I?
You will need to have someone with management permissions log into Visual Matrix and give your new user Remote Access through Management > User settings > Security > Manage IP security and set the user permission for Remote Access to Yes on your new user in the system.

How can we process a payment via JCB in visual matrix?
You can create/activate any payment accounting code in the system in Management > Accounting > Accounting Codes and post it in the folio for your transaction but it is ultimately up to your processor to accept or decline the transaction depending on what they accept for your property.

Can you please guide me how to print Blank Registration Card?
Unfortunately, the system will not print blank registration cards.

How does the system know which confirmation letter to send to the guest?
Your system allows you to choose what type of confirmation letters your reservations receive depending on their status in your system. You can check your settings for those letters in Management > Property Settings > Letters

How do I change my registration paper's policies?
You can update Registration Cards, Folios, and Invoices in Management > Property Settings > Forms

When I try to block a room I get a message that says "Work order must be assigned to an active maintenance." How I can create that? 
You must select a maintenance user to assign the work order to before saving the work order in the system. The active users for maintenance will be users set up in your system for the Engineering Department in Management > User Settings > Security

 How can I change the room rate for tonight only?
You can setup a Peak Date in Management > Rates > Peak Dates > Click Add New then select the date you have created and fill in the parameters of the rates for the room types before saving the information.

Is there a way to adjust a rate a year from now?
You can adjust any future rates in the system using your seasonal room rates in Management > Rates > Room Rates > Select the Season and adjust the rates as needed per room type.

I need to get rid of a rate season and don't know how?
You cannot fully delete a rate season in your system, but you can backdate it by setting a date range that predates your oldest season. Be sure to check that there are no gaps or overlaps in the date ranges, including for older, expired seasons in your system.

Please explain how or why this would be used this Excp/Fixed?
When creating a discount code in your system you can choose one of three discount options. Percent takes a percentage off of your rate, exception fixed gives you a fixed rate to be used for the discounted amount, and flat rate works like a coupon and takes a flat amount off the available rate.

Can you remind me how to enter an amount in the Excep/Fixed discount codes?
To apply a fixed discount code, first select the season and room type you want to update. Then, enter the fixed rate for your discount code in any of the available rate fields up to six people.

How can you deactivate the automatic print during check in?
This is a setting for your registration cards that you can adjust in Management > Property Settings > Forms and update the number of copies to print upon check-in to zero.
