The General section within Property Settings stores your property’s core details, including contact information, mailing details, and system identifiers. These settings are typically configured before go-live and are used across reports, guest communications, and system records. While most fields are not frequently updated, understanding what each section contains helps ensure your property information remains accurate and consistent throughout the system.

Contains the core details that identify your property across the system, including name, location, and primary contact information.
Used for: Reports, guest-facing documents, and system records.
The Email field must be populated for the system to send guest communications, including confirmation emails, as well as reports such as Night Audit.
Mailing Address
Stores an alternate address for correspondence if it differs from the property’s physical location.
Used for: Billing, corporate communication, or off-site administration.
Stores contact details for a parent company or brand associated with the property.
Used for: Corporate or brand-level reference and communication.
License
Displays system-specific identifiers assigned to your property.
Used for: Support reference and system validation.
Controls how phone numbers appear throughout the system.
Used for: Standardizing display across screens and reports.
Different formats reflect how phone numbers are commonly structured in various countries. Select the format that best matches your property’s local standards.
Examples:
- (xxx) xxx-xxxx: Common in the United States and Canada.
- (xx) xxxx-xxxx: Used in countries like the United Kingdom, Ireland (landlines).
- (xxxx) xxx-xxx: Used in countries like Australia, New Zealand (landlines).
- (xx) xxx-xxxx (closest to your “xxxX” format): Seen in parts of Latin America, such as Mexico, Brazil.
Some countries, such as France (xx xx xx xx xx), use formats not fully represented here. Choose the closest match based on your local preference.
