Search for a Travel Agent (Cloud) 🎥

Travel agents play an important role in driving reservations and earning commission based on negotiated rates. When you need to review an agent’s details, confirm commission settings, or verify account history, quickly locating their profile is essential. This article explains how to search for and open an existing Travel Agent record in Visual Matrix Cloud.
Path: Accounting > Travel Agent > Search

Instructions

To locate an existing Travel Agent profile, use the Search screen in the Accounting section. By default, the system displays a list of all Travel Agents. You can then use the available filters to narrow the results and quickly find the specific agent you need.

1. Use the available filters to narrow your results:
- TA Type: Filter by the type of travel agent (such as commissionable or non-commissionable).
- Company Code: Filter by a code your property assigns to Travel Agents to group them into categories (such as Tourism or Business).
- Sorting Method: Choose how the list is organized (for example, alphabetical order).



2. Click Refresh to apply your filters and display results.



3. Select the desired Travel Agent from the list. The Travel Agent profile opens in the Sales & Marketing section, where you can review or edit details.
