Send a Message from the Dashboard – Internal Messaging (Cloud)
The Internal Messaging widget in VM Cloud lets you send messages directly to colleagues or entire departments without leaving your dashboard. It’s perfect for quick cross-department communication and ensures your team stays in sync.
Internal Messaging lets you communicate directly with individual team members or predefined departments. While you can’t message every department simultaneously, this ensures your message reaches exactly the right audience.
Instructions
To send an internal message:
1. Click New.
2. Select a department or the person’s department.
3. Choose whether to message ALL or a specific staff member.
4. Type your message.
5. Click Send.
6. Your message will appear in the Outbox tab for easy tracking.
Use Internal Messaging for fast, context-important updates like shift changes or announcements—no need to leave the dashboard.
