Send Mobile Key from Reservation (Cloud)

Send Mobile Key from Reservation (Cloud)

Flexipass Mobile Key is only available on VM Cloud. For Information, contact our Sales.
Using Flexipass lets guests use their smartphone as a room key instead of a physical card. Sending the mobile key during check-in streamlines guest arrival, reduces plastic key issuance, and provides a modern guest experience.
Path: Front Office > Reservations > Search and open the reservation
Info
The steps in this article can be used to create a guest’s initial mobile key at check-in, as well as to issue duplicate or replacement keys at any time during the stay.

Instructions

1. After opening the reservation, click Mobile Key in the Toolbox. A pop-up window appears asking where to send the mobile key at check-in time.

2. In the Mobile Key Creation dialog, choose where to deliver the mobile key.
3. If both options are available, choose Email or Text. Email is selected by default.
Notes
SMS/Text option appears only if the property has the guest texting feature enabled.
Notes
At this step, the front desk can choose whether to issue the key as an additional/new card or as an override, which cancels any mobile keys that were previously created.

4. The guest receives a message (via email or text) with instructions. They must download the Flexipass Keyless Mobile Access app (if not installed) and ensure Bluetooth is enabled on their phone.
