A company profile can be configured with an override rate so that when the company is selected during reservation creation, the negotiated rate is automatically offered. This helps ensure that contracted or preferred rates are consistently applied without requiring staff to manually adjust the rate each time. When a company with an override rate is selected in a reservation, the system displays a confirmation pop-up, allowing staff to apply the negotiated rate associated with that company. Override rates are typically used for corporate accounts or negotiated company pricing agreements.

Understanding Override Rate Options
Company override pricing can be configured in different ways depending on how the agreement with the company is structured.
- Fixed Override Rate: Allows you to define a specific daily rate that will be offered when the company is selected.
- Discount Code / Rate Plan: Instead of defining a fixed rate, the company profile can reference an existing rate plan or discount code.
- Weekly or Monthly Override Rate: Used when the company agreement includes extended stay pricing, such as weekly or monthly negotiated rates.
A company profile can be configured with Override Rates and/or Weekly/Monthly Rates, or it can use a Discount Code. However, Discount Codes cannot be used together with Override Rates or Weekly/Monthly Rates.
Instructions
Follow the steps below to configure an override rate in the Rates Information section of the Company Profile.
1. Scroll to the Rates Information section and check "Rate Override".
2. Configure the negotiated pricing for the company by entering either an override rate (weekday/weekend, weekly, or monthly) or by selecting a discount code.
3. Click the Save icon (green disk) in the top-right corner.
