Set Up a Company Override Rate (Cloud)
A company profile in VM Cloud can be configured with an override rate so that when the company is selected in a reservation, the negotiated rate is automatically offered. A confirmation pop-up will appear, giving staff the option to apply the override rate. This ensures consistent use of contracted or preferred rates without manual adjustments. Override rates can be configured as a daily override, a linked rate plan/discount code, or a weekly/monthly override.
Path: Sales & Marketing > Company > Company
1. Open an existing profile or create a new one.
2. Scroll down to the "Rate Information" section.
3. Check "Rate Override".
4. Choose the type of rate to assign to this company: a fixed override rate, a linked rate plan or discount code, or a fixed weekly/monthly override rate.
Only one type of override can be used per company profile. You must choose either a fixed daily/weekly/monthly override rate or apply a rate plan/discount code. It is not possible to configure both at the same time.
5. Click the green floppy disk at the top right to Save.
