Set Up Travel Agent Incentive Commissions (Cloud)
Travel Agent Incentive Commissions allow you to temporarily override the standard commission percentages for a defined date range. These incentive rates apply during the selected period and replace the standard commission percentages when calculating commission amounts. Use incentive commissions when running promotions, special agreements, or limited-time commission adjustments. Incentive commissions must also be enabled in the individual Travel Agent profile for the override to apply.
Path: Accounting > Travel Agents > Set Up > Travel Agent Incentive Dates
How Incentive Commissions Work
- Incentive commissions override the standard commission percentages during the defined date range.
- Outside the incentive period, the system reverts to the standard commission settings.
- If multiple incentive periods are configured, ensure date ranges do not overlap unless intentionally structured.
Instructions
1. Click Add to create a new incentive period.
2. Enter the following information:
- Start and End Date: Period during which the incentive commission will apply.
- RegTAComm (Regular Travel Agent commission %): Temporary commission percentage for Regular Travel Agents during the incentive period.
- InHouseComm (In-House Sales commission %): Temporary commission percentage for In-House Sales agents during the incentive period.
3. Click Save to apply the incentive commission. The incentive commission will apply to reservations with stay dates that fall within the defined date range.
How Incentive Commissions Work
- Incentive commissions override — they do not add to — the standard commission percentages during the defined date range.
- Outside the incentive period, the system reverts to the standard commission settings.
- If multiple incentive periods are configured, ensure date ranges do not overlap unless intentionally structured.
- Changes affect commission calculations moving forward. Previously processed commissions are not automatically recalculated.
