Setup an Online Rate Plan Private (Cloud)
This option is only available on VM Cloud. If you do not have access to your Channel Manager Rate Plan Mapping, contact Visual Matrix Client Experience to setup an online rate code "Private". For quicker resolution, please send the list of rate/discount codes to mark as Private.
Marking a rate code "Private" means that the rate will not show on the registration card. This is used for guests who do not pay the hotel directly for the accomodation but go through a thrid party.
Path: Management > Interfaces > All Interfaces > Click on your Channel Manager
1. Go to Rate Plan Setup on the right side (first option from the top of the toolbox).
2. Find the rate/discount code.
3. Check the box in the "Private" column (scroll right if it is not visible).
4. Click Save.
