Share All Charges Across a Room Folios (Cloud)
If you have multiple guests sharing a room and you want to split all charges among them, you can configure the guest account to ensure that expenses are divided across the individual guest folios for that room. This configuration will be effective for ALL charges automatically posted during the night audit, not limited to room and tax charges.
Path: Front Office > Reservations > Open/Create a Reservation > Open "Guest Account" in the right side toolbox
1. Choose "Room/Tax" as the Folio Type for each folio you wish to distribute charges among.
Expenses can be divided among up to 4 guests, corresponding to the maximum number of folios supported for one room.
2. Select "Share" as the Posting Type for both folios.
3. During the night audit, all charges will be automatically distributed among the configured folios as described above.
