Difference between RC, AR, RD and Comp

These Accounting Codes segregate revenue into Room Charges (RC), Room Revenue Adjusted (AR), Discounted Revenue (RD), and Comped Revenue (Comp).

The RC code represents a credit amount, indicating the room revenue posted each night.
The AR, RD, and Comp codes denote debit amounts, signifying revenue adjustments, discounts, or complementary rooms that have been deducted from the room revenue.
These three codes are distinct to specify the impact of each code. If you have a ballroom or conference room and wish to separate its revenue from the room revenue (RC) while still including it in the Room Revenue General Ledger, you can create similar codes.

Subsequently, you can view all the codes and their generated revenue, whether credit or debit, in the Daily Report, specifically in the pages breaking down the Detail Listing Guest Ledger.
