** Understanding Activities (Cloud)

Activities allow properties to offer services, rentals, reservations, and amenities that can be added directly to guest reservations. Before creating an activity, it is important to understand the four available activity frequencies and how each one manages reservations and availability. Use this guide to determine which activity type best fits your operational needs.

How Activities Work

Activities can be attached to guest reservations and scheduled for specific dates and times.
Common examples include: Pool Access, Bike Rentals, Golf Tee Times, Guided Tours, Yoga Classes, or Resort Fees.
Once reserved, activity charges are scheduled on the reservation and automatically post to the guest folio during Night Audit.

Activity Frequency Types

Daily Activities
Daily Activities are designed for services or charges that apply once per day.
Examples: Resort Fee, Daily Parking, Amenity Fee, Recreation Pass.
Notes
Guests can add the activity to any day of their stay.
Open Times Activities
Open Times Activities allow guests to reserve an activity for a custom duration.
Examples: Bike Rentals, Kayak Rentals, Equipment Rentals, Golf Cart Rentals.
Notes
Guests select a start time and an end time.
Set Times Activities
Set Times Activities provide predefined reservation sessions.
Examples: Pool Access Sessions, Guided Tours, Yoga Classes, Wine Tastings.
Notes
Guests select one of the available sessions.
Example: 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM; 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM; 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Revolving Activities
Revolving Activities automatically generate reservation slots throughout the day.
Examples: Golf Tee Times, Spa Appointments, Photography Sessions.
Notes
The system automatically creates reservation slots based on the selected Revolving Duration.
Example: Every 10 minutes from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
