View CC Number in Reservation (Cloud)
The reservation form in VM Cloud allows users to view the tokenized credit card used for payment—when needed. In the Payment Info section, clicking the pencil icon leads to a secure window where authorized users can view the full credit card token. This token (not the actual card number) can still be used for transactions, while protecting sensitive card data in compliance with PCI standards.
Path: Front Office > Reservations > Search > Open a Reservation
Instructions
1. Access Payment Info: Ensure Payment Method is set to Credit Card.
2. Open Credit Card Details: Click the pencil icon next to Payment Method to open the Credit Card – Save Info window.
3. Click View to see the listed card(s).
4. Select the card and click View again in the Credit Card Authorizations window to reveal the full token number. Click OK to close.
Only one token number can be viewed at a time. To see another, close and reopen the window.
4. Click OK to close, or Cancel to exit without viewing.
Token Usage Note
Each manual entry or swipe creates a new token line, even if it's the same card.
The revealed token is not the actual card number—it is a secure alias used during transactions.
