If you already have your whole season built, but find out after that there is a big event and you want to change the cancellation policy to 7days notice instead of the usual 24hrs for 14 days in august. Is that possible?
Yes - This adjustment can be done in the Interface Settings to the specific season you have setup but it will set the policies for the entire season so you might need to split your season for adjusting one specific time period.

If we don't put a rate for a room type when using peak date, will the rate for that "blank" room type default to that season's rate?
Yes, the system will default and pull the rates that you have setup in your system if you do not apply an override rate for the peak date.

I have mapped a new discount code to match my memberweb but it is still not showing on my PMS or memberweb. What am I doing wrong?
Rate plans for BW would need to be added to your MW by the EDS Department of BW - once they have created and added the plan to MW you can contact VM for us to map and configure the rate plan in VM once you build it locally.

Do the discount codes always go off Rack rate?
There are 3 types of discount - Percentage off Rack - Exception Fixed which is one set rate instead of Rack - and Flat which works like a coupon $5.00 off Rack etc.

The rate code already exists on MW but it is not showing on my PMS. What do I do?
Create it locally then have VM map it in your interface if you do not have this access.

Is there a way to set up a rate plan that is Rack Rate + $? Example of a romance package where room comes with chocolate and wine. Asking for an independent, not BW.
You can apply a rate plan to a package in your VM system. However, you won't be able to sell this package online.

Is there any place to mark a discount code commissionable?
No. A commission has to be related to a Travel Agency and the Travel Agency assigned to a reservation.

We should be matching to what CRS has?
Yes.

If something comes up NOT matching who do we reach out to for help? Your regular tech service or is their another department familiar with this feature?

I have new room types and I'm unable to select discount codes
As explained in the webinar, if a new room type has been added, you need to re-populate all rate plans to this new room type.

When I make the reservation for 5 rooms I need to enter the credit card information for each reservation. why?
We understand the frustration behind this, however, this is related to PCI compliance.
