Configure Automatic Charge Transfers Between Guest Rooms (Cloud)

When a single individual is responsible for paying for multiple rooms outside the context of a group, Visual Matrix allows you to automatically transfer charges from one folio to another across different rooms. Unlike a group master folio, if you only need to transfer specific charges (e.g., room charges but not incidentals), ensure that these charges are initially configured to post to separate folios. This setup enables charge transfers to be managed by folio type.

Path: Front Office > Reservations > Search > Open a Reservation > Guest Account

1. Click on "Guest Account" on the right side.

2. Select "Transfer" as the Posting type.

3. Enter the room number and the folio of that room where the charges will be transferred.

The destination room must already be checked in for the transfer setup to be saved and for the transfer to occur.
