Copying a weekly staff schedule in Visual Matrix Cloud makes it easy to reuse shift assignments when staffing needs stay consistent from week to week. Instead of rebuilding schedules from scratch, you can quickly carry forward a week that already works — saving time and helping ensure coverage stays predictable for your team.
Path: Front Office > Supervisor > Staff Scheduler
Instructions
In this section, you’ll copy an existing weekly schedule into a new week so you can reuse shift assignments without rebuilding them.
1. Click Copy to open the schedule duplication dialog.
2. Select the Department whose schedule you want to copy.
3. Choose the week you want to copy from — the dropdown lets you pick up to 4 weeks in the past and up to 11 weeks ahead.
4. Choose the week you want to copy to — this dropdown goes as far as 10 weeks ahead.
5. Click OK to apply the copied schedule to the destination week.
If a schedule already exists for the destination week, copying another schedule to that week will override the existing one.
