Download Panic Alert Video Recording (MOP 2.0)

When a user activates the Panic Button in MOP, the system automatically begins recording video on the device. These recordings are stored within MOP and can be accessed through the Panic Alert Video Log. This article explains how to download Panic Alert videos, if you have the proper access, and how long those recordings remain available in MOP.



Panic Alert Video Log Overview

The Panic Alert Video Log displays a list of all recorded panic events, including:
  1. Date and time of activation
  2. User who triggered the panic alert
  3. Associated room or location
  4. Video recording link

Path: Dashboard > Panic Alert Video Log

How to Download a Panic Alert Video

  1. Locate the Video - Find the desired panic alert event in the list.
  2. Select the Camera Icon - Click the camera icon located on the far right end of the alert line.

   3. Save the Video 
  1. Choose the download location on your device.
  2. Enter a preferred file name.
  3. Click Save.
The video will download to your computer or device.

How Long Do Panic Alert Videos Remain in MOP?

Panic Alert videos remain stored in MOP indefinitely.
There is no automatic expiration or time-based deletion of Panic Alert recordings within the system. Once a Panic Alert video is created, it remains accessible in the Panic Alert Video Log.

Videos are retained for long-term audit and compliance purposes.
Recordings remain available for download at any time.
It is still recommended that properties download and securely store critical incident footage according to internal safety policies.
This ensures that Panic Alert incidents remain fully documented and accessible for review, investigation, or compliance reporting.
