Assign and Complete Alerts (MOP 2.0)

Alerts in MOP are used to flag items that require attention, follow-up, or verification. Assigning alerts ensures accountability, while completing alerts documents actions taken and supports operational visibility, safety tracking, and compliance reporting.

What Are Alerts in MOP?
Alerts are special task types created either automatically by the system (such as DND Alerts or Suspicious Activity) or manually by users with permission.
Alerts typically:
  1. Require timely follow-up
  2. Are visible in the Alerts section
  3. May be assigned or completed by authorized users


Assigning an Alert
Alerts can be assigned from the Alerts page or directly from the alert details view.

What Happens After Completion
Once an alert is completed:
  1. The alert status changes to Verified
  2. The alert becomes read-only
  3. The system records:
    1. Completed by (the user who completed the alert)
    2. Completed time
    3. Action Taken details
This information remains available for reporting, audits, and compliance.
