The file includes both active and archived alerts.

How Long Do Safety Alerts Remain in the System?

Safety Alerts remain in MOP permanently — even after they are finalized. When a Safety Alert reaches its final status:
  1. Its status changes to Verified.
  2. The alert becomes read-only.
  3. The full record remains stored in the database.
  4. It continues to appear in the Download Safety Alerts Report.
There is currently no automatic deletion or archival of Safety Alerts after they are verified. This permanent retention supports:
  1. Full audit history
  2. Compliance tracking
  3. Long-term visibility into safety-related incidents

Understanding Alert Statuses (New vs. Verified)

When reviewing Safety Alerts in MOP or in the downloaded report, you will see one of two primary statuses:
New
An alert is marked New when:
  1. It has been created (manually or automatically).
  2. It has not yet been fully addressed.
  3. Follow-up action is still required.
This indicates the alert is active and pending review or action.
Verified
An alert is marked Verified when:
  1. The required follow-up has been performed.
  2. Action Taken notes have been entered (if required).
  3. The alert has been finalized in the system.
  4. The record becomes read-only and remains stored for reporting and compliance purposes.
This indicates the issue has been addressed and formally closed in MOP.

What Is Included in the Report

The exported CSV includes:
  1. Active alerts
  2. Archived alerts
  3. Verified (cleared) alerts
  4. Status history
  5. Timestamps

  7. Action Taken notes
The report provides a complete historical record of safety-related activity at the property.
